Whether your child is just starting out or already rallying like a pro, we’ve got a program to match their age and stage:
🔴 Red Ball (Ages 5–8+)
Mini courts, mini racquets, MAXIMUM fun! A great intro to tennis with game-based activities that build confidence and coordination.
JULY CLINIC – BOOKED OUT
🟠 Orange Ball (Ages 8–10+)
Bigger courts, faster play! Players develop rally skills, footwork, and game awareness in a fun, active setting.

🟢 Green Ball (Ages 10+)
Full-size courts with lower-compression balls to sharpen technique, movement, and match play.

🎾 Teen Program (Ages 12–16+)

Get tournament ready with our high-intensity Performance Training Clinic at the Queensland Tennis Centre designed specifically for players preparing for the Rod Laver Tournament.
This clinic focuses on match-specific training, tactical development, physical conditioning, and mental preparation to ensure athletes are ready to perform at their peak on tournament day. Sessions are led by our experienced performance coaching team and tailored to match-play scenarios players will encounter at Rod Laver.
Session will contain Features of:
- Tournament-style drills and match play
- Advanced movement and footwork
- Tactical strategy workshops
- Mental toughness and recovery sessions
Player Eligibility:
This clinic is open to players who regularly compete in tournaments, must hold a Tennis ID number, and have a minimum UTR of 3.0+.
Get ready to compete with confidence! Our Orange & Green Ball Performance Clinic at the Queensland Tennis Centre is designed for rising stars preparing for the upcoming Rod Laver Tournament and other high-level events.
This intensive clinic will sharpen your game with focused training on technique, strategy, movement, and mental toughness – all delivered in a fun and competitive environment by our experienced performance coaching team.
Player Eligibility:
This clinic is for Orange and Green Ball players who:
- Hold a Tennis Australia ID
- Have a consistent history of tournament participation
- Are currently competing at a performance level

FAQ’S
What are the drop off and pick up times?
- Drop off is available no earlier than 8:30am.
- Pick up time is to be no later than 4pm or 12:30pm for Red Ball Half Day classes.
- Although your child can wait around longer in the pro shop/cafe area unsupervised if they are of suitable age and you allow this.
What breaks are there throughout the day?
- For half day students, there is a short morning tea break.
- For full day students, there are short morning and afternoon tea breaks and a 1-hour lunch break (12-1pm).
What if it is raining or looks like rain?
- If we have to cancel the clinics due to wet weather, we will send out an SMS approximately 1 hour before the start time.
How old does my child have to be to participate?
- Minimum age requirement is 5 years old.
Does my child have to have previous tennis experience?
- No. The clinics are designed so that children with the same tennis ability/experience are grouped together to ensure they don’t feel out of place, so that each child gets the most out of the day. Previous tennis experience at a tournament level is a requirement to participate in our performance programs.
Are the clinics all about tennis?
- Although our holiday clinics are primarily focused on tennis and the development of tennis skills and ability, we also incorporate other activities such as movies and board games if required.
What clothing/equipment should my child have with them?
- We recommend children wear comfortable clothing which allows ease of movement and participation in all activities. Each child must also bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. A tennis racquet is also essential. Racquets can be hired from the Pro Shop on a daily basis if need be.
How do I register my child/children?
- It’s simple; just follow the links above to register for your chosen class and select which days you wish for your children to attend. Payment is required upon enrolment. Enrolment for the holiday programs is only available online.

*Children must bring all their own food and drinks – packed suitably in a lunch box, in a backpack.
*There are food and drink options onsite if you would like to leave spending money for your child.
*No commercial food delivery services will be accepted at the counter.
