Venue Management Profile
The Queensland Tennis Centre is managed by UQ Sport. UQ Sport is a not for profit organisation wholly owned by The University of Queensland.
Operating since 1911, UQ Sport brings to Tennis Queensland a unique combination of long-standing expertise and experience across areas of venue management and sports programming to ensure the successful development and growth of tennis, and to encourage participation in the local and broader communities.
UQ Sport will build on the potential of the Queensland Tennis Centre through innovative and inclusive programming and adopts an underlying philosophy that:

With over 60 years' experience in managing the University of Queensland Tennis Centre, UQ Sport, alongside Tennis Queensland, offers an unmatched combination of skills and expertise in innovative and financially responsible commercial management of community sport and recreation facilities.

UQ Sport delivers an extensive range of best practice tennis services to cater for the mutual needs of both Tennis Queensland and the community. Specifically these services include a range of coaching (beginner to semi-elite), competition (internal and external), social events, corporate, school and general hire services and supported by a pro shop and kiosk, café and on-site tennis club.
