Tennis Queensland is the governing body of tennis in Queensland and forms a link in the chain of member associations responsible to Tennis Australia, the governing body of Tennis in Australia. The aim of Tennis Australia is to promote and facilitate participation in tennis at all levels, and also conduct national and international tournaments.

HEAD (Leisure Link) and UQ Sport have had a strong working relationship dating back over 10 years. Throughout that time HEAD and UQ Sport have worked hand in hand to build a tennis industry standard retail pro shop at the Queensland Tennis Centre. HEAD is the preferred supplier at UQ Sport and the UQ Tennis Centre, St Lucia. Both centres offer a wide range of HEAD products, from tennis racquets, bags, footwear, apparel and accessories.

HEAD has been a large part of the tennis landscape both on an international scene, supporting tennis greats and current players including Andre Agassi, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, and on a local scene, supporting tennis at a grass roots level through programs offered at the Queensland Tennis Centre.

The Great Brisbane Junior Tennis Association offers children under 18 years of age the opportunity to play tennis fixtures and tournaments in the spirit which promotes the game and values of tennis. GBJT emphasises good sportsmanship and the involvement of parents at committees and as volunteers to run competition and ensure everyone has a good time.
